Olaplex Hair Care Routine

Updated: Oct 15, 2020

If you are looking to fix your damaged hair Olaplex is the way to go. I started using Olaplex in July after I bleached and dyed my hair. I noticed an immediate change in my hair after one wash. These products are a little on the pricey side, but they are worth it in the long run. I got these products in a mini size to start off with and fell in love with how they made my hair look and feel. The No. 0 was the only item that was not included in the mini set.

To start my hair routine, I take my dry hair before I wash it and saturate it with the No. 0 from root to tip and let that sit for about 10-15 minutes. Then I add my No. 3 throughout my hair and let it sit for the same amount of time. Now it’s time to wash! I use the No. 4 shampoo and No. 5 conditioner and I let both of those sit in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing. After I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair and mix together the No. 6 and No. 7 and apply this to my hair with my hands at first and then I take a wet brush and brush it through my hair to make sure it's evenly dispersed. These products fixed my split ends and made my hair feel and look so much healthier. These products are color safe too. I have been adding purple into my hair since July and these products do not wash the color out of my hair. When I use any other shampoo and conditioner, I watch my purple rise down the drain, and I have to redye my hair in 2 weeks. Olaplex makes the hair color last and look vibrant.

If you are looking to repair damaged, unruly, or colored hair I would recommend giving Olaplex a try. The trial kit is $25 at Sephora. These products are also a part of Clean at Sephora and recommended for all hair types.
