Especially this time of year, I look forward to staying in, being cozy, and just simply relaxing. Although it is fun to go out, staying in and having some quiet time at the end of the week can be rejuvenating. So, I am going to share some of the things I do to have the ultimate cozy night in.
Shower & Skincare
The first step in having the perfect cozy night starts with washing the day away with a warm shower. Showering always makes me feel better after a long day, and then right after, I head into my skincare routine. Whether you have ten steps in your skincare routine or two, either way is perfect. Do what works for you!
Light a Candle and Read a Book
There is something so calming about lighting a candle and cuddling up. My current favorite candle is called Heritage Pumpkin which I got from HomeGoods. I personally like to read when I have the time but if that’s not your thing, you could watch a movie or listen to a podcast instead.
Making or Listening to a Cozy Playlist
I love listening to music, even if it’s just in the background. The playlist that I currently put on when I am having a cozy night in, or even just early in the morning, is called Feels Like Fall. Making new playlists is another idea that you could do on cozy nights in!
Make Tea or Hot Chocolate
I’m not the biggest tea person but I do love hot chocolate. Having something to sip on while reading or watching a show makes the vibes a lot cozier!
Lights Out
When I am staying in, I usually like to go to sleep a little earlier than normal, or just when I get tired from reading or whatever else. This is the perfect time to catch up on sleep and take a break from studying and work.
