With the weather getting colder and days getting shorter, I have been feeling less and less motivated to get dressed up and look all nice to go out. It feels as though I haven’t squeezed into a pair of jeans or even put on makeup in what seems like forever. However, just because I have not got all dressed up in a while does not mean I have let myself go. Dressing down can be just as fun and stylish because cute doesn’t always mean fancy. Here are some of my favorite cozy and affordable outfits for those days where you just don’t feel like doing anything.
The first outfit is a white and grey Vineyard Crew sweatshirt I got from TJ Maxx paired with grey sweatpants I got from Aerie. This super cute outfit can be styled in many different ways, and it can go well with any vintage t-shirt as well. To make this look extra cute, try wearing a hat or beanie to tie everything together.
The second outfit is an orange American Eagle flannel hoodie paired with a pair of black leggings from TJ Maxx. I love this flannel hoodie because it is perfect for so many occasions. You could wear it to watch movies, go to a bonfire, and even go on a casual date night. Once again, this outfit can be styled in many different ways, so rock the flannel in whichever way you may please!
The next outfit is a black strappy body suit from Windsor paired with black Calvin Klein sweatpants I got from TJ Maxx as well. The black strappy body suit was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made at a store because it goes well with everything! This look can be worn on a lazy day, or even be styled with a cute jean jacket and some earrings to spice it up a little.
The last look is a maroon turtle neck sweater from Aerie paired with black Nike sweatpants from Dicks Sporting Goods. I love this outfit because oversized clothes are always so much fun to style. This turtleneck sweater would go great with a pair of leggings or mom jeans as well. If you want to add something to the look, try wearing a beanie or a cross-body bag for casual outings.
Even though there will be days where you do not feel like doing anything, it is always important to take care of yourself. Feeling confident in your comfy clothes is easier than most people think, and it doesn’t require that much effort. I encourage everyone to give these clothes a try and to enjoy those lazy days when you can!
